What instruments can I use with these kits?
Our kits are validated using the BIORAD QX200 and QIAcuity instruments for digital PCR and the Bio-Rad CFX96 and QuantStudio5 instruments for RT-qPCR. While some RT-qPCR instruments may be interchangeable, we recommend using the QIAcuity specific assays with the QIAcuity instrument for best results.
Can these kits be used to detect COVID-19 in wastewater?
As GT Molecular specializes in wastewater surveillance, all kits are validated for use in wastewater samples. As testing wastewater samples can be complicated by a complex matrix with inhibitors, we have recommendations on how to maximize your success in our GT-Molecular Guide to Wastewater Surveillance available upon request.
Can these kits be used to detect COVID-19 in clinical samples?
Our SARS-CoV-2 kits are currently for Research Use Only (RUO).
How soon after placing an order can I expect delivery of the kit?
For deliveries within the US, the kits are shipped FedEx Priority overnight on ice. Most customers receive their kits within 2 business days of placing an order.
