The GT-Research Panel (RUO) is a multiplexed molecular reagent kit that contains all primers, probes, and controls for the detection of SARS-CoV-2, Influenza A & B, and RSV.

Get the information needed to help analyze the distribution of SARS-CoV-2, flu, and RSV nucleic acid.

The assay incorporates an optimized SARS-CoV-2 target (SC2) to minimize potential issues with Omicron mutations.

Key Benefits

Easy to Use

Off-the-shelf validated kit comes with all primers, probes and controls. Easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions and technical support.

Multiplexed

Streamline workflows and differentiate between multiple viruses. Save time, cost and reagents. Optimized SARS-CoV-2 target minimizes potential issues with Omicron mutations.

Workflow Flexibility

Pre-validated on Thermo QuantStudio™, Bio-Rad CFX96™ and others. Choose the RNA extraction method and PCR thermocycler that fit with your workflow.

High Sensitivity

Detect as little as 5 copies of viral RNA per reaction and identify samples with low viral load. No cross-reactivity detected between this multiplex kit and common human viruses.

For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

FAQs

What instruments can I use with these kits?

Our kits are pre-validated using the Thermo QuantStudio 5™, Bio-Rad CFX™ with easy adaptability to other multichannel RT-PCR machines.

Do you offer support?

Yes! Contact us below and one of our technical support scientists will be in touch via email or phone. We’ll be happy to walk you through the workflow and answer any questions you may have.

What targets are measured?

  • SARS-CoV-2: Nucleocapsid gene (N) and Polymerase gene (ORF-1)

  • Flu A: Matrix protein gene (M)

  • Flu B: Non-structural 2 gene (NS2)

  • RSV A and RSV B: Nucleocapsid gene (N)

What internal control is used?

RNAse P (RPP30) gene which confirms the presence of human material and acts an extraction control.

How soon after placing an order can I expect delivery of the kit?

Once an order is placed, most assay kits are shipped within 5 business days and via FedEx Priority overnight on ice.

What sample types can be used?

Common upper respiratory samples.
