The GT-Digital SARS-CoV-2 Delta-Omicron Wastewater Surveillance Assay for QIAcuity® comprises a patent-pending molecular reagent kit containing all primers, probes, and controls for detecting mutations associated with SARS-CoV-2 variants Delta and Omicron. Specifically, assay solutions and appropriate controls are provided for quantification of mutational signatures corresponding to the Delta (L452R, T478K) and Omicron (N679K, Q954H) variants of concern. Through use of this kit, in conjunction with the QIAGEN QIAcuity® instrument, users can monitor the emergence of SARS-CoV-2 variant-associated mutations and trends over time using population-wide, wastewater-based epidemiology.
