GT-Digital Soil-Transmitted Helminths (STH) Wastewater Surveillance Panel v1.0 for the Bio-Rad QX600™ Droplet Digital™ PCR System is a molecular reagent kit consisting of all primers, probes, and controls necessary for the detection of STH DNA, specific to Necator americanus, Ancylostoma duodenale, Ascaris lumbricoides, Trichuris trichiura, Strongyloides stercoralis species. This panel allows identification of STH contamination sources in wastewater (WW). The target used to detect Necator americanus (NecA) and Ancylostoma duodenale (AnsD) are located on ITS-2, the target for Trichuris trichiura (TriT) is located on ITS-1, for Strongyloides stercoralis the target (StrS) is on the 18S rRNA, and for Ascaris lumbricoides the target (AscL) is located on satellite DNA. Assay solutions and appropriate controls are provided to ensure accurate detection of these targets. When used in conjunction with the Bio-Rad QX600™ Droplet Digital™ PCR System, users can monitor Soil-Transmitted Helminths species in wastewater.
