GT-Digital Vector Copy Number: WPRE Assay Kit v1.0 for the QIAGEN QIAcuity® Digital PCR System is a molecular reagent kit consisting of all primers, probes, and controls necessary for the detection and quantification of a common viral vector genetic element (WPRE), present in lentiviral, adeno-associated, and retroviral vectors. It also detects a housekeeping control gene. The assay targets the Woodchuck Hepatitis Virus Posttranscriptional Response Element (WPRE; FAM) and the housekeeping gene Polypyrimidine Tract Binding Protein 1 (PTBT; HEX). This assay is designed to quantify the number of integrated viral vector copies containing WPRE elements relative to the genomic content of the cell, in the context of cell and gene therapy. This assay kit is compatible with genomic DNA (gDNA) extracted from cell culture samples containing integrated viral vectors. Assay solutions and appropriate controls are provided to ensure accurate and reliable quantification of all targets. When used in conjunction with the QIAGEN QIAcuity® Digital PCR System, this kit facilitates the precise measurement of the viral vector copy number (VCN) per cell.
