Our Water Surveillance Technologies
Our dPCR technology accurately quantifies your target of interest by diluting samples and performing PCR in nanodroplets. Sample dilution eliminates the effects of any PCR inhibitors and the need for a standard curve. Target quantification is calculated based on a Poisson distribution of nanodroplet reactions that contain the target sequence.
We use NGS technology to identify SARS-CoV-2 variants of concern and to survey microbial communities present in wastewater and water samples through 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) metagenomic sequencing. NGS is an accurate, high-throughput platform. NGS data can be used to assemble shorter sequencing reads into longer reads and determine the number of times a particular sequence is detected in a sample.
