The GT-Quantitative Real Time Flu;SC2;RSV;BCoV Wastewater Surveillance Assay v1.0 developed for the QuantStudio 5® (also Bio-Rad CFX96™ or similar platform), is a molecular reagent kit consisting of all primers, probes, and controls necessary for wastewater surveillance of influenza (Flu), SARS-CoV-2 (SC2), and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). Assay solutions and appropriate controls are provided for the quantification of 1) influenza A/B; 2) RSV A/B; 3) SARS-CoV-2; and 4) bovine coronavirus (BCoV), a matrix recovery control/process control. Through the use of this kit in conjunction with the QuantStudio ™ 5 Real-Time PCR System or similar RT-PCR platform, users can monitor influenza, RSV, and SARS-CoV-2 levels at the community level and normalize for changes in viral recovery caused by the variable and complex nature of wastewater.
