Bio-Rad QX200/QX600 Kits
About the Bio-Rad QX200 and QX600
The Bio-Rad QX200 partitions each reaction into ~20,000 droplets across two fluorescence channels (FAM and HEX/VIC), making it well-suited for singleplex and duplex digital PCR. The QX600 keeps the same droplet generation chemistry but expands the optical system to six channels (FAM, HEX, ROX, Cy5, Cy5.5, and ATTO 590), enabling much higher-order multiplexing in a single well — up to six targets at once. For wastewater surveillance, microbial source tracking, AMR monitoring, and oncology panels where you need to measure multiple markers per sample, the QX600 lets you do in one reaction what previously took several.
GT Molecular’s GT-Plex™ multiplexing technology was built specifically to make use of those extra QX600 channels — our highly multiplexed panels (Flu;SC2;RSV;BCoV, HPV 16/18/31/45, multi-source MST kits, carbapenem and beta-lactam AMR duplexes) are optimized for the QX600’s expanded color palette. If you’re running a QX200, our singleplex and duplex kits are validated on that platform and will run on a QX600 unchanged when you upgrade — every kit on this page is platform-validated for the channel count it requires.
Key Benefits
Detect as few as 3 copies of viral RNA per reaction and identify viruses in samples with low viral load
Leverage our GT-Plex™ technology to amplify more targets in each assay, saving you time and money
Assay your samples with validated kits that include all necessary primers, probes, and controls
Eliminate interference from PCR inhibitors using dPCR technology
