This assay kit provides users with an end-to-end workflow to detect Total Yeast and Mold of AOAC interest. The GT-BB Extraction Kit v1.0 comprises a Research Use Only (RUO) reagent kit containing all lysis reagents necessary for the isolation of plant and fungal DNA. The GT Real-Time Total Yeast and Mold Detection PCR Kit v1.0 comprises a RUO, patent-pending molecular reagent kit containing all primers, probes, and controls necessary for the detection of genomic DNA from and variety of yeast and mold species.

Equipment

The GT Real-Time Total Yeast and Mold Detection PCR Kit v1.0 has been validated for use with the Bio-Rad CFX96™, CFX Opus™, Thermo Fisher QuantStudio™ 5, Agilent AriaMx™ Real-Time Systems. Other systems capable of reading FAM, HEX/VIC, Texas Red/ROX, and Cy5 fluorophores are likely compatible, but may require further optimization.
