(Cat# 100275) The GT RT-PCR hMPXV Assay Kit comprises a molecular reagent kit containing all primers, probes, and controls for the detection of hMPXV (also referred to as monkeypox) and human extraction control. The assay solution targets two genomic loci on hMPXV and one target on human RPP30. A proprietary bioinformatics pipeline was utilized to specifically target two genomic hMPXV loci while avoiding cross-reactivity with closely related pox viruses.
