QIAGEN QIAcuity Kits

Platform Highlights

About the QIAGEN QIAcuity

The QIAGEN QIAcuity is an integrated, nanoplate-based digital PCR (dPCR) system that delivers absolute quantification in approximately two hours. By eliminating separate droplet generation, thermal cycling, and manual reading, it offers a streamlined, walk-away workflow.

  • Integrated Automation: Replaces multi-step droplet workflows with a single, fully automated nanoplate system.

  • Flexible Throughput: Available in three tiers (QIAcuity One, Four, and Eight) to match focused or large-scale projects.

  • Multi-Color Multiplexing: Supports up to 5 detection channels (including FAM, HEX/VIC, ROX/TexasRed, and Cy5) depending on the model.

  • Absolute Quantification: Uses Poisson statistics to count target molecules directly, eliminating standard-curve variability for better cross-lab reproducibility.

  • Platform-Validated Kits: GT Molecular kits are tuned specifically for QIAcuity’s partitioning chemistry and channel assignments with primers, probes, and controls including matrix-recovery controls.

  • Target Applications: GT Molecular’s assays are purpose-built for this platform for wastewater surveillance, microbial source tracking, AMR monitoring, oncology, and cell/gene therapy.

Key Benefits

Sensitive

Detect as few as 3 copies per reaction. Resolve rare alleles and copy-number differences where qPCR typically struggles.

Multiplexed

Leverage our GT-Plex™ technology to amplify multiple targets in a single nanoplate well, saving you time, reagents, and sample volume.

Easy to Use

Validated kits ship with all primers, probes, and controls. Drop-in compatibility with the QIAcuity nanoplate workflow — no protocol tinkering required.

Robust

Eliminate interference from PCR inhibitors using dPCR endpoint detection. Reliable performance on wastewater, plasma, FFPE, transduced cells, and other complex matrices.

Section: Cell & Gene Therapy QC

For cell and gene therapy programs running on the QIAGEN QIAcuity, digital PCR has become the standard for vector copy number determination, AAV titer measurement, transgene quantification, and residual plasmid detection — applications where the QIAcuity’s nanoplate automation, audit-friendly software, and absolute-quantification chemistry make GMP-aligned workflows simpler to validate. dPCR is widely considered the gold standard for AAV viral titer because it removes standard-curve variability from cross-batch comparisons.
