GT-Digital Flu;SC2;RSV Wastewater Surveillance Panel v1.0 for the Bio-Rad QX600™ Droplet Digital™ PCR System

(Cat# 100735) The GT-Digital Flu;SC2;RSV Wastewater Surveillance Panel v1.0 for the Bio-Rad QX600™ Droplet Digital™ PCR System is a molecular reagent kit consisting of all primers, probes, and controls necessary for wastewater surveillance of influenza A/B, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) A/B, and SARS-CoV-2. Assay solutions and appropriate controls are provided for the quantification of 1) influenza A; 2) influenza B; 3) RSV A/B; 3) SARS-CoV-2; 4) bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV), a matrix recovery control/process control. There are two notable changes from predecessor kits: 1) The SARSCoV-2 target used in this assay is the SC2 target, which differs from the 2019-nCoV-N1, which circumvents any potential issues arising from mutations occurring in the latter target; and 2) the internal process control has changed from bovine coronavirus to bovine respiratory syncytial virus due to CDC recommendations. Through the use of this kit in conjunction with the Bio-Rad QX600™ Droplet Digital™ PCR System, users can monitor influenza, RSV, and SARSCoV-2 levels at the community level and normalize for changes in viral recovery caused by the variable and complex nature of wastewater.
